Natasha is our November Member of the Month! She deserved to be in the spotlight since she is also the winner of our annual Get Fit Challenge! In under 9 weeks she lost 10 pounds and several inches. She won a Spa Day package including a massage, facial, and pedicure for all of her hard work!

Luna Moms Club Tip of the Week: Week 12

Fact: The EPA states that toxic chemicals in household cleaners are three times more likely to cause cancer than outdoor air pollution and the Consumer Product Safety Commission has identified 150 chemicals common in homes linked to allergies, birth defects, cancer and psychological abnormalities. Some of the most common culprits include household bleach, all-purpose cleaners, laundry detergent, and dish detergent.
Action: Use non-toxic cleaners (i.e. Seventh Generation, Method, Ecover brands). Or make your own.

Exercise of the Week: The YTA

This week’s exercise is great for the deltoids! Stand on the tube with one foot and in a staggered stance. Hinge forward at the hips, tighten the abdominals and keep the spine in neutral. Start with a forward lift (Y), add a rear fly (T) and finish with a palms down posterior lift (A). This exercise targets the entire deltoid musculature.
